Local birding 26th Feb' 2012

Signs of Spring were in the air with 2 Shelduck, Curlews and Oystercatchers
at Foulridge today. At Coldwell Reservoir a flock of 35 Curlew flew over east
with a few loose groups back around the reservoir. An Oystercatcher was
displaying over the water and a Short-eared Owl was around for a while.
250 Fieldfare moved through nearby Thursden Valley.
